With Interim joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE). candidates can secure 200L admission into their preferred university and course without UTME via Direct Entry.
IJMB is an Approved, Proven & Certified nine (9) month Advanced level programme directed by Ahmadu Bello and having coordinating bodies in various tertiary institutions and different affiliated study centres nationwide. The programme is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for candidates who cannot gain admission to regular degree programmes in Nigerian Universities for one reason or the other, as the programme only requires candidates O'level results, also awaiting result candidates can Enrol.

Approved: By the Federal Govemment has a platform for securing admission into higher institution in the country and abroad.

Proven: Yearly, about 20,000 applicants put in for the programme in which more than 70% fraction successfully secure admission with it into 200 Level to their preferred institution & course of study.

Certified: By Nigeria University Commission (NUC) has an Advanced level examination that qualify students into 200Level via Direct Entry.

The programme is open to all interested candidates nationwide and any course can be offered be it Science, Art or Social Science. Prospective IJMB candidates are required to select any Three (3) A/L IJMB subject combination (English Language compulsory) identified with their preferred course of study. Candidates would then be lectured at their respective Study Center and thereafter sit for the final examination. On completion of the programme, successful candidates utilize their IJMB certificate to secure admission into 200Level in any Nigeria tertiary institution via Direct Entry.

Hence, IJMB certificate is presently recognised and accepted in more than 80% of Nigeria federal, state and private Universities. The Federal Government, through its various educational agencies, recognize IJMB as an examining body for Advanced Level Examinations. The syllabus is approved by the NERDC and the IJMB examination result are listed among the acceptable modes of entry in the JAMB brochure.

WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT IJMB

Thousands of applicants register for IJMB every year, and about 80% of them gains admission into 200L in their preferred university through IJMB. It was set up so as to cater for candidates who couldn’t gain admission into their preferred institution for one reason or the other or for those who need another alternative to University admission as the programme only requires your O’ level Result (Awaiting Result Candidates Can Also Apply).

NUC Accredited

IJMB is certified by the NUC (Nigeria University Commission) as an Advanced Level (A Level) programme for Direct-entry (DE) admission into universities in Nigeria

IJMB = 100 Level Studies

The syllabus for the IJMB Examination is compiled in line with international standard educational requirements and admission requirements of various accredited Universities. The IJMB syllabus is designed to be covered in a single academic session over a period of two (2) semesters which is equivalent to 100Level studies at the university. The content of the syllabus is structured in such a way to ensure that all the topics in the IJMB subjects are covered within the two semesters.

Requirements

Applicants must pass five subjects at credit level at not more than two sittings in the SSCE/GCE organized by WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and should include the major subjects of study. Candidates who are expecting the release of their ‘O’ level results CAN also apply by indicating their “Awaiting Result” status appropriately. The programme is for a duration of 9 month divided into two semesters (c) Eligibility: IJMB programme is open to all interested candidate nationwide.The venue of the programme depends on candidate's choice, all interested IJMB Applicant are expected to choose from our various study centres nationwide, the centre they wish to do the programme during their online registration, based on the Study Centre Availability at the time of registration.

Early registration is however advisable. Candidates are allowed to Pay the School Fees in Two Installments Within 4 months.

Students may choose to stay on Campus or off campus at will, Hostel Facilities are available for all students.
